I won a Pride of Britain Award!
Last year, I was truly humbled to receive the prestigious Pride of Britain Award, a recognition of my dedicated campaigning to ensure that the online world becomes a safer space for everyone living with epilepsy. My journey into advocacy began back in 2020, inspired by the incredible legacy of Captain Sir Tom Moore. I set out to walk laps of my garden, hoping to raise a modest £260 for the Epilepsy Society as my way of giving back. However, the mission took an urgent turn when malicious trolls targeted my fundraising page with flashing GIFs specifically designed to trigger seizures. This act of digital cruelty transformed my perspective and fueled my determination to fight for meaningful change. Since then, I have worked tirelessly alongside lawmakers and digital safety experts to introduce the 'Zach’s Law' legislation, aiming to criminalize the deliberate sending of flashing images to people with epilepsy. Achieving this milestone has been the honor of a lifetime, proving that even a small walk in a garden can lead to a national movement for protection, justice, and empowerment for the disabled community.

I Started Zach's Right to Ride
In 2025, after seeing a content creator struggling to access the London Underground, I resonated with her therefore decided to start my crusade!
Starting Zach's Right to Ride has allowed me to have opportunities that could never have seemed imaginable!
I have had meetings with train companies, accessibility companies, I have also been on the front page of the Daily Express newspaper!
I recently had the opportunity to cut the ribbon alongside my local MP as we celebrated its reopening after being made more accessible! You can read more about this here!

I Changed the Law!
After seeing Captain Sir Tom Moore walking laps of his garden, I was inspired by him therefore I started to walk 2.6km to raise £260 for the Epilepsy Society. However, when the Epilepsy Society shared my fundraising page, we were bombarded with flashing GIFs trying to trigger a seizure.
Prior to our knowledge that such abuse was a thing, Epilepsy Society were already campaigning for it to be illegal. When the society asked myself & my mum to join them, we said yes!
Together with the Epilepsy Society, we have hosted roundtables withy social media companies, held an events at political party conferences and met with MPs.
In 2023, after three long years of meetings, conferences, surreal moments and watching late night debates, Zach's Law was official!
